Traditions Club and Community Unveils Phase 1 of The Villages at Traditions

(BRYAN, Texas) – Traditions – the private golf club and residential community neighboring Texas A&M University and the prospering ATLAS development – has unveiled the first phase of The Villages at Traditions, the Brazos Valley’s first pocket neighborhood.

The initial build-out of 19 residences features floorplans ranging in size from 1,500-2,500 square feet. Details of each home mirror the Traditions lifestyle – large front porches, historic touches, impressive moldings and energy-efficient designs.

Prices start in the mid $300s and increase to the mid-$400s depending upon product, size and finishes. A park-like setting with sidewalks and a gazebo are complemented by native plantings and exquisite landscaping emphasizing a relaxing and friendly atmosphere.

At final build-out, The Villages will have 116 craftsman-inspired homes constructed over five phases. Phase 2 construction has begun, and should be completed by early 2019.

Pocket neighborhoods like The Villages at Traditions center around a courtyard or common garden, and are designed to permeate an overall warm neighborly theme and promote a close-knit sense of community with an increased level of contact. These maintenance-free, lock-and-leave lifestyle residences perfectly suit single professionals, “empty-nesters,” retirees or anyone desiring to enjoy and simplify their lives.

“Pocket neighborhoods have become sought-after in upscale communities for their designs, functionality and low maintenance,” says Spencer Clements, Principal, Traditions Club and Community. “The initial phase of residences at The Villages at Traditions go above and beyond by offering spacious floorplans with luxurious appointments, plus convenient access to the Traditions clubhouse, the Lake Walk Town Center, ATLAS and Texas A&M University.”

The Villages at Traditions is part of a wide variety of high-end residential product in Traditions, including estates, Game Day Cottages, single family homes, condominiums, villas and casitas. The pocket neighborhood is situated near the 21,000-square-foot Traditions clubhouse featuring men’s and women’s locker rooms, a fully equipped fitness center, the Family Swim Center and Pool Grille. Numerous dining options inside the clubhouse include the 1876 Wine Cellar and Sully Dining Room.

The Villages at Traditions lifestyle allows residents to enjoy the burgeoning Lake Walk Town Center. Ongoing are Lake Walk Town Center’s signature events including The Local, a neighborhood artisan market, Eats and Beats Concert Series and numerous health and wellness activities for the entire family. The town center also features a pavilion and plaza, a waterfront park on Lake ATLAS and The Lookout observation deck.

Also adjacent to the acclaimed Traditions Club and Community and Lake Walk, ATLAS is best in class for manufacturing and technological companies desiring a wellness environment. Viasat, a global broadband services and technology company, recently opened its Texas headquarters in ATLAS. Other companies located within ATLAS include Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies, iBio and Nutrabolt.

Slocum, women’s basketball coach Gary Blair and retired NFL referee “Red” Cashion.
