William Cole development history goes back to its first golf project; Renditions, Golf's Grand Slam Experience, in Davidsonville, Maryland. The company partnered with Landscapes Unlimited, a premier golf course contractor and operator, to design, develop and operate one of the most anticipated golf courses to open in Washington, D.C. market in the past twenty years.

Currently, William Cole is developing two independent, boutique hotels, The Stella Hotel in Bryan, Texas and The Josie, a ski in, ski out hotel steps from the lifts at Red Mountain Resort in Rossland, British Columbia. Red Mountain Resort is undergoing the largest terrain expansion in North America in the past forty years and is considered to be the finest tree skiing anywhere in the world.

The company has led the design and development efforts on numerous golf course clubhouses, including Traditions Club, home to the Texas A&M Golf Teams, which opened in 2010. In 2011, William Cole also directed the award-winning renovation of Rayburn Country Resort's 18-hole championship golf course while simultaneously coordinating the renovation of The Lodge at Rayburn Country.
